COMING SOON: PRESSURE THE ANIMATED MOVIE 2010

 

This has been an exciting and blessed year thus far for Double Edge Ministries. But it's not over yet! Now, the anticipated release of D.E.M.'S first animated movie, PRESSURE, is upon us. Starring Kre8tor, D-Will, Buck Barnabas, and Randy-G, the film gets real about the issues that threaten to keep so many men trapped in the bondage of sin. 

Though portrayed through animation, it doesn't get more real than this. Kre8tor, the main character gets caught up making fast money and living the dangerous gang lifestyle, until one day, he is betrayed and lands in prison--a blessing in disguise. Because it is behind bars that Kre8tor finds his true freedom. 

But it doesn't stop there. After Kre8tor is released, he finds life on the outside to be full of temptation, frustration, and opportunities to revert back to his old ways, which is a struggle millions of men around the country can relate to. That's why this film is so important and is being promoted as not just entertainment, but as a viable ministry tool to transform lives.

D.E.M. Releases New Video from Artist D-Will, "Straight to the Top!" Check It.

In anticipation of the release of the full length animated film "PRESSURE" from the film division of Double Edge Ministries, D.E.M. has released a hot new music video from artist, D-Will! The hit single (Produced by Kre8tor) "Straight to the Top" featuring pulsating beats and the catchy hook that says, "That's why I gotta follow Christ He'll take me straight to the top!" --is sure to make a strong impact.

"Says D-Will," I thank God for the opportunity to impact the lives of people everywhere and let them know that Christ is the only way." The artist was recently featured on WROC News in Rochester (Video Posted Below) for the awesome ministry work he's doing with young people; he also shared his testimony of how God delivered him from the life of a drug dealer, and set him on the right path.

D.E.M. Artist Buck Barnabas to Release New Album "Who Is Buck Barnabas?"

Evangelist at heart, rapper by trade. Buck Barnabas the gifted lyricist with a heart for street evangelism is solidifying his place in the Christian rap industry with the release of his new album, "Who Is Buck Barnabas?" No official release date has been assigned by Double Edge Ministries, but label executives say the debut album is scheduled to drop either late 2010 or early 2011.

Currently, Buck is featured on the newly released "Pressure" soundtrack from the upcoming animated movie, "Pressure," available for digital download right now exclusively at DoubleEdgeMinistries.com.

The Film and Motion Picture Division of D.E.M. presents its first full feature animated film Pressure debuting on DVD and Digital Download in 2010. The gripping tale surrounds the life of Kre8tor, prominent hustler and gang boss who finds himself entangled in a web of deception, betrayal, and murder.

Landing in prison after being set up by an envious enemy, Kre8tor discovers true freedom behind bars when a fellow inmate leads him to Christ. After serving out his sentence, the reformed ex-gangster returns to his old stomping grounds a changed man. But will he succumb to the pressure to return to his old ways after adjusting to life on the outside proves difficult?
